New Contracts!

I'm excited to announce that I've recently signed new contracts with Whiskey Creek Press Torrid for my book Second Chances and two short stories The Fix It Man and Christmas Dreams!!!!

This and That

Summer is flying by and I'm getting back to work after a short break. My grandson Gabe spent five weeks with me and I promised him my undivided attention. Of course, I still checked emails every night after he'd gone to bed. :) Besides enjoying the time with Gabe, the break also gave me fresh ideas for new stories and books, which I've started working on. I still plan to take care of the unfinished projects, too!

Gabe is becoming quite a little fisherman and wanted to go fishing almost everyday so he could practice casting. The only glitch in our 'vacation' was the water pipes broke in the basement the night before July 4. What fun looking for a plumber and clean up service. All is well now, though, except that I still have to put everything in the basement back where it belongs.

Now I'm back in my work mode since Gabe went home last week. It's hard for me to believe that he'll be starting second grade this fall. It seems like only yesterday I was rushing to the hospital to witness his birth. Time with him are memories I'll always cherish.

Projects Completed!

This has been a busy month! I've finally finished my book Second Chances and two short stories Christmas Dreams and The Fix It Man. These are sensual romances and as soon as I write the dreaded synopsis for each of them, I'm going to submit them...hopefully by tonight. My next project will be to finish The Stalker script.

Gabe will be coming to spend five weeks with me this summer and I'm going to take some time off from writing. He'll be moving to Raleigh this summer and I don't know how often I'll get to see him so I intend to thoroughly enjoy his visit. He's growing up much too fast to suit me. It seems like only yesterday he was born, but he'll be seven on his next birthday. Besides going to the beach, he wants me to help him write his book. He's got quite a good idea for a little guy. Did I say I was going to take some time off from writing? :)

Over The Edge Is Released!

Maggie Allen's world of corporate money and power comes crashing down after she is taken by a man who is only out to use her for his own gain. When she is released from a short stint in prison, she refuses to give up, even though no one will give her a second chance.
