The Postmistress

I am ready to submit my short story, The Postmistress, to my publisher. This was a fun story to write. I'm going to try to fit more short stories into my writing schedule. 

Almost Completed!

My novel, Revenge, should be completed in a few weeks. It took a different turn from what I had planned, but that is the norm for me. I tried outlining in the past, but the finished book looked nothing like the outline. My characters speak loudly about what they like and don't like. In the end, they are right. It's their story and they need to tell it.

Happy First Day Of The New Year 2014!

I don't make New Year's resolutions. I used to, but found out that I rarely kept any of them. I'm a list maker! I take this time to wipe the slate clean. Projects that didn't get completed in the past year are put at the top of the list. Since life has a way of derailing even the best-laid plans, I try to give myself plenty of room. Sometimes, though, outside circumstances pull me away from my writing for much longer than expected. And sometimes there are very few distractions and I even manage to write a couple of stories that weren't even on my list. But no matter which way life takes me, in the end, almost everything gets taken care of and those that don't get moved to the next year's list.

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!

I am so happy to be finished! I must admit, though, that I do the majority of my Christmas shopping on line. It's so much easier since the bulk of my time is spent on the computer. I did find some amazing deals and everything was delivered quicker than I expected. Now for the wrapping!

Synopsis

As the passion heats up between Brianna and Chandler, her Aunt fears Brianna's reaction if she finds out about Chandler and her beloved 'adopted' Aunt Jo's past steamy love affair.
