I am so happy to be finished! I must admit, though, that I
do the majority of my Christmas shopping on line. It's so much easier since the
bulk of my time is spent on the computer. I did find some amazing deals and
everything was delivered quicker than I expected. Now for the wrapping!
I'm excited to announce that Hearts On Fire is getting a
new cover! I don't have the release date, but will post it as soon as I receive
She never expected to fall in love again, especially with
the sexy gardener her "aunt" has a steamy past with.
When Brianna Jackson pays a long overdue visit to her Aunt
Emily to heal from her broken engagement, the last thing she expects is to fall
in love with her Aunt's new sexy gardener Chandler Russell. As the passion
heats up between Brianna and Chandler, her Aunt fears Brianna's reaction if she
finds out about Chandler and her beloved 'adopted' Aunt Jo's past steamy love
Over the years I've come across many interesting
websites for beginning and established writers, so I've decided that every Wednesday I'll post links to my favorites. I hope you find them as helpful and motivating
as I do.
My least favorite chore! The ever changing weather certainly doesn't put me in the right frame of mind since it is so unpredictable. One day it's sunny and beautiful outside and the next cold and drab. But it will get done. I can't wait to open the windows and let in some fresh air!
At least the newly painted living room is nice and clean. Now to tackle the rest of the house.
My suspense novel Revenge has taken up most of my writing
time this week. I'm pleased with how the writing is flowing. I'd started this
novel a few years ago, but had put it aside while I worked on other projects. When I began work on it again, it's as though no time had passed. I reconnected with all the characters and have even added a couple of new ones. Hopefully, it will be completed within the next couple of months.
It's been a rough few months, but I'm finally getting back
on track. I didn't realize how deeply the sudden passing of my precious golden
haired tabby last fall would affect me. Scootchie was my little buddy. During the
day she'd sit on her shelf in my office dozing while I wrote. At night she'd
sit next to me while I wrote on my laptop at the kitchen table.
She was the runt of the litter when I brought her home
eleven years ago. Nobody wanted her. I did. I fell in love with her the minute
I looked into those big bright eyes. She was born with some health problems, so
everyday she was with me was a gift.I'll always treasure the time we had together.
The last couple of years has been rough going where my
writing is concerned. It's not that the ideas aren't there, only life intruding
on my time. I'm finally getting back on track and plan to complete several
projects this year.
