LATEST NEWS ON EBOOKAD
TO ALL READERS, AUTHORS, AND PUBLISHERS:

UNFORTUNATELY EBOOKAD HAS DECIDED TO ENGAGE IN CENSORSHIP ON THEIR SITE. IF YOU WANT TO POST AN ANNOUNCEMENT ON THEIR PAGE, FORGET IT. FOR SOME ODD REASON THEY HAVE REMOVED THE RIGHT TO DO THAT. APPARENTLY EBOOKAD IS AFRAID OF SOMETHING, MAYBE THEY JUST DON'T WANT YOU TO KNOW THE FACTS. HERE THEY ARE!

THIS IS COMPLETELY WITHOUT PREJUDICE:

MY PUBLISHER, AN UPRIGHT AND HONABLE ENTERPRISE, HAS HAD SOME PROBLEMS GETTING PAID BY EBOOKAD RECENTLY. THAT MEANS THAT HARD WORKING, AND USUALLY, POOR AUTHORS HAVE TO WAIT TO GET PAID AS WELL. THAT'S NOT FAIR, IS IT?

EBOOKAD APPARENTLY DOESN'T CARE TO RESPOND TO ENQUIRIES ABOUT THE MONEY OWED TO MY PUBLISHER. NO LONGER WILLING TO PUT BOOKS ON A SITE WHERE NO PAYMENT WAS FORTHCOMING, AND NOT HEARING ANYTHING FROM EBOOKAD AS TO WHY PAYMENT WAS NOT FORTHCOMING, EXTASY DECIDED TO TERMINATE THEIR AGREEMENT WITH EBOOKAD. NOW, EVERYTHING IS GONE. EBOOKAD HAS DISREGARDED THIER AGREEMENT WITH MY PUBLISHER AND WIPED OUT THE SITE, SHOPPING CART AND ALL. THAT MEANS A LOSS OF REVENUE FOR MY PUBLISHER. THAT MEANS A LOSS OF REVENUE FOR THE AUTHORS. IT ALSO MEANS THAT READERS CAN'T GET THEIR BOOKS. THAT'S NOT FAIR.

IF YOU AGREE THAT'S NOT FAIR, AND YOU ARE A READER OF MY BOOKS, OR ANY OF THE WONDERFUL BOOKS AT EXTASY, THEN COMPLAIN, AND COMPLAIN LOUD. IF YOU ARE A PUBLISHER OR AN AUTHOR, THEN COMPLAIN LOUD TOO. ASK EBOOKAD WHY THEY DON'T RESPOND TO PEOPLE THEY OWE MONEY TO. ASK THEM WHY THEY HAVE DISCONTINUED THEIR ANNOUNCEMENT SITE. I BELIEVE THEY DID THAT BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T LIKE WHAT WAS BEING WRITTEN THERE!

EXTASYBOOKS WILL NO LONGER DEAL WITH EBOOKAD. IN TWO WEEKS, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PURCHASE BOOKS DIRECTLY FROM THIS GREAT, HONEST AND UPFRONT PUBLISHER, WHO WILL ALWAYS TREAT YOU WITH RESPECT, AND PAY THIER DUES. EBOOKAD MIGHT TAKE A LESSON FROM THAT. THEY HAVE LOST ONE OF THEIR MOST LUCRATIVE CLIENTS.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COPY AND PASTE THIS. POST IT ANYWHERE, THE MORE PLACES, THE BETTER. THANK YOU EVERYONE.

Story Ideas

A lot of people ask me where I get the ideas for my books. Sometimes they come from watching people, bits of conversation, or events from my or friends' lives.

My children's series The Adventures Of Angel is based on my bunny who has since passed on. She was more like a puppy than a bunny and she definitely had a mind of her own.

The Stalker came about when my youngest daughter was attending college in Pittsburgh and was being stalked. Fortunately, her situation had a happy resolution. The stalking gave me the idea for the book and my imagination did the rest.

A future novel My Tommy is based on the lives of my late parents. My father died when I was a young child and my mother never remarried. She always referred to my father as my Tommy and it was evident that he was the one and only love of her life.

I'm also working on a two-book series Obsessed and Revenge which deals with the very painful subject of spousal abuse and is loosely based on events that happened to someone close to me.

I never run out of ideas for books and I fear that I'll run out of time before I ever get to write all of the books that I want to. :-)

Whew!!!

Well, the electrician rewired and updated everything yesterday. What a relief! I was hoping to get a new laptop, but now that will be put on hold since every spare dime went to getting the wiring fixed. Hopefully, by the end of summer I'll be able to get it. I've been checking out the new models; I've had good luck with Gateway for the past several years and know it will definitely be a Gateway.

Gabe started his spring soccer yesterday and was excited to get back into his "training". He has his first game on Saturday and I wish I could be there! He has informed me that he is a pre-teen and a big kid now; he's five. LOL He's excited about writing his book with Amma this summer. I can't wait! We're also going to plant a garden and he'll be in charge of watering. Hopefully, our garden will produce some edible veggies.
