This and That

I'm putting the finishing touches on two more short stories The Ticket and The Victim, which I plan to submit to Amazon Shorts.

I'm also getting things organized to make book trailers for my mystery and thriller books. My daughter has arranged the music and now all I have to do is put it all together. Eventually I hope to have trailers for all my books.

I'm still debating whether to write the scripts for Over The Edge, Silent Dreams and The Cats-Kill. Eventually I'd like to, but I have many unfinished novels I'd like to complete first.

Now if someone could just add a few more hours to each day!

I hope everyone's holidays were happy. I enjoyed spending the holidays with my daughter and grandson in Virginia Beach.

It's hard to get back in the daily swing, but I've made my list of works to accomplish this year.
I finished the edits on Hidden Desires, which will be released in May from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. In December my two short stories will be released together in Torrid Teasers, also from Whiskey Creek Press.

I hope to complete another mystery/thriller and am also working on a paranormal. But, I know my muse will take me on a couple of unplanned adventures.

People Can Be Cruel!

I can't believe how cruel and heartless some people can be. I suppose what really bothers me is that some people have no conscience. My oldest daughter Jenn mailed Christmas gifts to her sister Jess and nephew, my grandson Gabe, in plenty of time to arrive for Christmas.

The package arrived the other day and Jess noticed that it seemed very light for what was supposed to be inside. She opened the package and all of the wrapped gifts, except for one, had been removed and the package resealed. How can someone steal wrapped gifts with names on them and have a conscience? I'm sure that the gifts stolen from Gabe will be given to some other child. I hope the giver feels real good about him or herself knowing that the gifts they gave to others were stolen.

Jenn works very hard for her money and doesn't have a lot. I know she's heartbroken over this because she put much thought and care into choosing the perfect gifts for Gabe and Jess. I still like to think that there's good in everyone and I hope this person realizes what he or she did. In any event, I am a firm believer in Karma.
